At WOWOWA we couldn’t be more passionate about creating wow-worthy homes for families that ignite the soul and inspire delight. Renovations to cherished old homes or newly purchased ugly ducklings are our bread & butter as we meld the existing with a fresh and robust vision of the future. Grand new stand-alone homes and nostalgic cozy Beach Houses are also our jam. Together with clients, we walk through the process with a unique method of unpacking a client’s personal intuitive style so it’s a home you’ll love forever.

Over the last 16 years, WOWOWA has built a reputation for seriously playful architecture and is now working on significant projects with budgets of over $20m. Our clients include the VSBA (Victorian School Building Authority), MACS (Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools), National Gallery Victoria, several Municipal Councils, Local & Regional Community groups, and developers such as Nightingale, Small Giants Developments, and Homes Victoria.
We work Australia-wide with projects in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth and enjoy collaborating with both larger Architecture practices as well as the full gamut of consultants who bring projects to life from Landscape Architects to Mechanical and Structural services. We consider everything a design exercise while we execute both form and function with divergence, robustness, and thoughtfulness. Client and stakeholder engagement is something we undertake with grace and in the spirit of collaboration. We see each building as an opportunity to care for the health and well-being of Country.

1 Landscape

How the landscape flows from the outside in is critical to our wholistic process. We design the “hard landscape” (ie paving, benches, pergolas etc) and work with wonderful landscape architects who specify the plants and trees and irrigation. Collaborations are the key to successful outcomes.

2 Furniture Curation

Commissioning WOWOWA to assemble a furniture package for the home is a critical as we design the space to fit with perfection. From loose furniture, lighting, artwork & objects down to curtains, linen and rugs, we create a wonderfully cohesive & joyously unique home for you and your family. Melding local & international selections,  we curate & co-ordinate your future purchases with pizazz.

 

 

3 Art & Objects

Channeling your inner art patron Medici era, WOWOWA works with you to acquire from our favourite local galleries and supporting Melbourne artists (living here and abroad) that are both smart investments but also pieces that speak to you and your values. Or just look fantastic!! A gallery hoping day is the best day.
